graphics and clip art going nuts

Sigh,
1.First it was .GIF showing and printing all zig-zaggy.
2.Then came various extensions that, after they were
"Saved", broke-up and looked like colorful chopped
liver.
3.Now, I can't open .WMF; there's no program associated
with "Open" in file folders.

I've got Windows 98, Pub2002, PictureIt2000 and ClipMate
(over-riding Clipboard)..... and a big bag of M&M's!!

A Gif is a very low resolution bitmap. I can't imagine it not printing all
jaggy.

NOT suitable for high quality output.

Forgot to mention that I can't draw freeforms, etc. They
disappear when I get the "Edit Points". (but I can do Auto
Shapes)

I've tried everything I could think of re the Pub disk,
and I thought it had something to do with graphics card
but didn't think of newer driver.... thanks, I'll try it.
(Couldn't get past thought of whole new computer!)

In Publisher, under help, Detect & Repair. Do a disk clean-up. Install the updates:

Does this happen in PictureIt! too?

If all this doesn't solve your issue go to the
manufacturer's web page and download
