Groove is constantly reading/writing to my harddrive

I have my Groove account on several differnt computers, and one of them has
been taken over by Groove. As I sit here and watch it, the HD light is
constantly flickering and Groove is non-responsive. None of my other
computers are transfering data via Groove. I've run GrooveClean.exe to try
and flush out the buffer, but that did not work. This is only the 3rd time
I've had this problem and I end up spending my day wiping out Groove and then
reinstalling it on the troubled machine. Is there anyway I can fix this
problem short of Uninstalling Groove and Reinstalling it?

Very Frustrated,
Tyson

Dear Tyson,

According to your description and my research, I think this issue must be
caused if your Groove account on this computer has been corrupted. So based
on our current situation, I suggest us to deal with this issue by these steps.

1: Back up this account as a file from any ohther computer in which you are
also using this Groove account.
2: Copy this account file to this computer
3: Plase use Grooveclean -all tool to remove your problematic account and data
4: Please double click this account file to restore the account on this
machine
After these steps, let us test the results.

After following the steps listed below, Groove is no longer reading/writing
to the harddrive, however after step 4, all of my workspaces are listed under
"Not on This Computer" on the machine that I ran GrooveClean -all on. At
this point, I'm going to have to download all of those workspaces which is
not only going to tie up that computer, but every other computer that it is
pulling those workspaces from! My goal was to find a solution that did not
require me to have to walk away from my work environment for hours on end in
order to fix Groove.

Dear Tyson,

Thank you for your update, according to your udpate, please understand if
you want to recover your Groove account and data, this is the only way for us
to deal with. Up to now, we have to download the workspace back from other
computers. Otherwise, we cannot get the data and account back from Groove.

It would be more judicious to try 'grooveclean -all' only after getting a
copy of your spaces on another computer!
