Group adjacent columns

Hello All. I am trying to do something very simple, but apparently
Excel won't let me. I am trying to group columns C&D, and then group
columns E&F seperately. When I attempt to group E&F, Excel groups all
four columns together (C-F). So I end up with one large group instead
of 2 smaller groups. Any ideas?!

Looks like you're right
Can't be done.
You could always insert another column after column D and leave that one
empty and narrow but not hidden.
