Group by received date issue

If I group by received date, Entourage groups it by days of the week (why!!).

Outlook groups it by today, yesterday etc.
How to make it that way?

Hi John!

And what comes before yesterday? "Day before yesterday"?

Entourage 2008 does group with today's posts appearing under a "Today"
group header. Yesterday's are under "Yesterday". Days before that are
listed by weekday name. Then "Last Week", "2 weeks ago", "3 weeks ago",
"Last month" and finally "Older".

If you're not seeing this then what are you seeing?

I group by "received" column.

I think I know why.
I imported from Leopard iMail.
Entourage imported mails but somehow changed the received date to the date
of import Jan 25 (which is a Friday).

So if I sort by received I get:
Monday
Tuesday
Wednesday

instead of
Today
Yesterday etc.

Interesting enough, new mails I received have the correct received date and
are sorted by Today, Yesterday etc.

Is this a bug? Any one had this problem with Entourage?
I had a bunch of "mailboxes" created in iMail, importing these seems to
reset the received date value.
Quite annoying!

All imported mail will show as the same date. We suggest sorting by Sent.
You can use View --> Unread only so these old emails aren't seen.

I suggest trying the 3 pane view. You can customize how you want to view
mail.
