Group Email Troubles

I am having trouble sending emails to groups of email addresses. Each
group has about 50 emails in them and in total there are about 300
email addresses (6 groups). The first time I sent the email only 3 of
the groups received it. An hour later, I sent the it to the groups that
didn't receive it the first time, only a few people from the beginning
of each group received it. I use mac os x and entourage x. I checked
with my ISP and the limit i have is 400 emails per hour. So that can't
be the problem. Can someone give any suggestions? Thanks!

You sound like a junk mailer, not sure if I want to help
you................. Well here is the fact you may need to know. Some ISP
prevents large email groups. So either send them out in smaller groups, or
create a mailing list at Yahoo Groups, which means your "friends or family"
can subscribe to.

So you would in the end send an email to one address, which would
automatically be sent to everyone who subscribes to that group.

Is a group fifty emails considered large?

By the way,I work for a business that send out very specific calendar
info to clients on our mailing list. We send this info to random
people, just the ones that sign up for it. I'm somewhat offended but
thanks anyways.

Please do not be offended, it is a common tactic that junk mailers do, so it
is a natural reaction to think that.

I am please to hear that you are not such person. I recommend you send 50
addresses, if that fails, drop it to 30, and so on until you find a number
that works.

If you have a large client that gets your calendar, I recommend doing a
Yahoo group, it works really well, also has download pages, forums and
etc...

Your ISP should tell you the limit, but testing will work too. When you know
the limit, get my script "Split Recipients X" from
