Group Email Won't go thru

I previously put this message on the group, but I neglected to provide the
error report from Entourage. I'm unable to send a group email consisting of
31 recipients, altho if I reduce the number to 6 (of any of the names in the
group) it goes thru with no problem.

The error message I get (Error number 17092) shows "Invalid Address Syntax",
with the problem identified as "SMTP Server doesn't recognise any of the
authentication methods supported by Entourage". It goes on to suggest making
changes to the authentication page in the Entourage preferences. However,
none of the items in the authentication area need to be ticked according to
my ISP.

Can anyone suggest what the problem could be? Surely Entourage should be
able to handle 31 recipients?

Any help appreciated

Regards

Just figured it out - one of the addresses had a strange appendage after the
address - I couldn't reproduce it using any of the keyboard keys. But I
deleted it and hey presto! Problem solved. Thanks to those who repied.
