Group Policies and Outlook 2002

Mark Feodoroff

Hi All,

I've read on the MSDN site that the Outlook Bar cannot be controlled via GPO
settings (bummer!).
I would like to know if this really is the case, and can the "Folder List"
also be controlled.
I have found settings for many of the options I want to pre-configure for
users, but not these two.

Cheers,

Mark

the outlook bar is stored in a *.fav file, so while gpo can't control it,
you can use scripts.

what do you want to control in the folder list? again, gpo can't affect it,
but there are other ways, depending on what you want to do.
