Group policy automatic installation

D

Donny

Hi want to perform a group policy installation of office
2000 from the domain policy software settings. If I
advertise the office application how to I automate the
installation on the users. I just want the user to open
the application from the start menu and not have to put
in any informatoin such as the name and CD codes.

Hi Donny,

This extract from the Office 2000 Resource Kit may be helpful to you:

In general you're looking at creating an Office 2000 Admin Point as
the source for deployment and using an Enterprise (volume) license key
when creating that point.
