Group Sent From "To" to "Bcc"

First Time Ever Asking a Question - If I am presently incorrect please let me
know.

I have a new MAC PB G4 - Running Mac OS X

I set up a group - with 3 reciepents

Clicked "To" added the group - saw the group listed in the "To" line

Typed the message

Clicked "Send" - Then went to the sent folder to review.

The "To" column was blank - expanded the message and all three names are
listed in the Bcc line.

Question?
Why did they move? It has happened 3 times.
Can I set something to leave in the "To" line?

Thanks for your help.

Open the Group. Uncheck the box "Don't show addresses when sending to group"
and close the group. Now the names and addresses of all members will be in
the To field, and everyone will see everyone else's address. If you don't
want that to happen, messages have to be sent BCC - which is what "Don't
show addresses when sending to group" does.

The other way of doing it is to put your own address in the To line and the
group in BCC line.
