Grouping Day of Week on a Report

Hello,
I am trying to group a report by day of week. Right now, the report is
printing multiple days as report header groups. For example,

Name Room Date Minutes Used Unused
Test,Surg
OROPSA
Thursday
120 120
0
120 120
0
Friday
120 30
90
240 240
0
Monday
420 240
180
Thursday
120 120
0
Friday
120 120
20
240 240
0

I would like the report to group all Thursday and Friday together and have
one group for Monday, Tuesday, etc... instead of repeating the day of week
multiple times for the same room. How can I write a query or a filter on the
report that accomplishes this?

And you have set up your grouping using ???

I suspect that you are grouping on a date field while your
question implies(?) that you don't care which
week/month/year the date falls into. If that's a valid
interpretation of what your are trying to do, try grouping
on an expression like:

=WeekDay([your date field])
