Hello
I am trying to figure out the math on thousands of items. Want to divide
the cost by .56, cant find this!! which function key to do I use??

There's no "function key" to divide cell values by .56.

One possibility.

Enter 0.56 in an empty cell. Copy the cell. Select your thousands of
items. Choose Edit/Paste Special, selecting the Values and Divide radio
buttons. Click OK.

try entering .56 in a blank cell. Right click and then copy. Highlight the
thousands of cells and right click>paste special select values and divide and
then ok. All of the cells will be divided by .56
