Has anyone ever tried e2Sync

I came across this program called e2Sync that is supposed to sync
Entourage with ical/addressbook. Has anyone tried this to see how it
works. There are mixed reviews at Versiontracker. I'm always a little
leary running something like this in case it really mucks things up
but I always keep good backups.

No need for this now (if you're running office 2004). This will now sync
itself.

The problem with Office 2004 sync services is that it will only sync
over 1 calendar called Entourage - so everything in iCal would have to
be rename Entourage and you loose the colour coding categories. In
Addressbook sync services just dumps everything into the all - you
have to manually put items into their groups which is a fair bit of
work. This is why I like Paul Berkowitz's script as you get calendars
and groups syn'd across. I'm just having trouble getting things
changed on the Palm to sync through to Entourage tasks.

Well e2sync is a nightmare. It totally messed up sync services. Its
fast but fast at messing things up. I have read that sync services is
what's flaky but I only have problems with it going between Entourage
and iCal Addressbook. Stay away from this one.
