Have used trial, now want to install full version

I have been running a trial version of Office 2007 small business Edition.

I have just purchased a full set of Office 2007 Standard Edition disks.

Do I need to uninstall the Trial version (via "add/remove programmes") and
lose all my settings (after backing up the pst files elsewhere) and then
install the new version from the disks, or can I "convert" by using the
product key that comes with the disks - or via any other means?

Thank you.

Thank you for the advice.
I guess that's my punishment for being so mean as to use the free trial!
Wishing you a fun weekend.

I don't need fun - I need peace and quiet. ;-)
