ERB - thanks, but that doesn't work either. Maybe this will help... I created a workbook that has 4 spreadsheets (worksheets) in it. If I make a change to the first worksheet, such as add a row, I want the related cell(s) in the second worksheet to automatically be changed as well to reflect the addition, so that I don't have to make the changes manually on both sheets. How do I do this

Hi,
This is called the group mode. Right click on any sheet
tab and click "select all sheets". If you only want to
select a few of many, holding down Ctrl key click on the
desired sheet tabs.

Be careful though, since it is very easy to mess up the
other sheets.

everytime any update is done, we need to "Select All Sheets", right?
I think what is required is automatic update, so that user may not need to
"Select All Sheets" everytime he update.
Correct me if my understanding is wrong.

Yes, I want it to automatically update so I don't have to
perform the function every time.

What I have is this:
This is no doubt a very simple thing but I cannot remember
how to do
it nor can I find it in Help.

I created a spreadsheet (worksheet) named MASTER.
Then added 3 other worksheets to the workbook.
I named them:
PP1 (worksheet 2);
PP2 (worksheet 3); and
PP3 (worksheet 4).
If I make a change to the first worksheet MASTER, or add a
row or column to the first worksheet, I want the related
cell(s) in worksheets 2, 3 and 4 to automatically be
changed as well, so that I don't have to make the changes
manually on both sheets. How do I do this?

i think u can do so simply by placing equation in other sheet.
for example, in sheet2!a1->"=master!a1", then whatever change in master!a1
will reflect in sheet2!a1.
however, the problem is about insertion and deletion of rows or columns in
master sheet (or in sheet2) will not automatically reflected in other sheet.
i m also looking for this solution, but hv yet to be found.
