Hey all,
I have Outlook 2007 running through Parallels Desktop but I want to
use a mail program in OS X to avoid having to use Windows XP just for
a mail client. I gave Entourage 2008 a go. It has everything I need
there is just one small problem, all the formatting in my emails are
different compared with my Outlook 2007 ones.
In Outlook 2007 I forward previously sent emails, update the
information and send them to the new customer. In Entourage if I
forward an email it does the following 1:
1 - It puts my signature that I have created in the forwarded message
and I can not seem to find an option to remove from forwarded messages
2 - For some reason in my signature some text that I have that is
meant to be black appears blue when I write a new email. Even when I
change this to black and save, when I go back to my signature it is
still blue. When I change this to black and send, the recipient gets
the email and it is black, but if I go to forward the message, this
part of text is blue again.
3 - My signature has bullet points that have no line spacing, but when
the recipient receives the email it does have line spacing.
I have tried very hard to fix these problems and I am still having
trouble.
Outlook 2007 is so much simpler to get the emails looking correct and
working. If someone can help me out with this I would be really really
grateful because if I can get my emails looking right when I forward/
create new emails I will be able to switch over to Entourage.
