At the end when you have everything in the form including-----Original Message-----
Seems simple enough, right? I followed the instructions
step-by-step in Help under this topic, and there is a
file there, but it has nothing in it!
Out of curiosity and to confirm I was looking at the
correct file, I used the Options feature to create a data
receptacle file with my own name (like MyDataFile).
Posting the form data aparently created the file, but
again no data remains there when I go to review it.
This would be a neat utility...if it worked, or more
accurately, if I could work it. Can you? All I want to
do is save the value of a CheckBox. Here's my code...
<form method="POST" name="DatabaseSearchPreference"
action="--WEBBOT-SELF--">
<!--webbot bot="SaveResults" U-
File="_private/SearchChoice.txt" S-Format="TEXT/CSV" S-
Label-Fields="TRUE" B-Reverse-Chronology="FALSE" S-Date-
Format="%d %b %y" S-Time-Format="%H:%M:%S" S-Builtin-
Fields="REMOTE_NAME REMOTE_USER HTTP_USER_AGENT Date
Time" --><fieldset style="padding: 2">
<legend>Database Search Preference</legend>
<p align="center"><b><font size="3">
<input type="checkbox" name="SearchChoice"
value="ON"> Search this
database for projects that match criteria I
define.</font></b><p align="center">
<input type="submit" value="Submit"
name="SubmitButton"><input type="reset" value="Reset"
name="B2"></p>
</fieldset></form>
Thanks for anything you'd like to share,
