Header question

I have 2 identities, say X and Y. On the header (the line with the close,
minimize, max buttons on the left), it says Mail. X 2. But I only have 2
identities. Why does identity X have a 2 after it? And how can I get rid of
that? Thanks.

It sounds like you have two main mail windows open. Just close window 2.

Yes, I can close X2 and X is still there. But if I exit Entourage, and start
it again, both X and X2 open. ??

You say you have two identities. You should not see both at the same time.
Just want to be clear about the problem.

Hmmmmm, not sure why. Try switching Identities and see if both re-appear
when you switch back.

Well, Diane. My computer has a mind of its own. An hour ago, I powered down
to install new memory and an airport card and when I powered up, that X.2
header had disappeared! Go figure. Anyway, all is well now and I am sorry I
bothered you but I can't say I understand it. Thanks for everything.
