Hellraider, cidaemon, etc.

I have/had (i'm not sure) the hellraider.exe virus on my
computer. I bought Norton Corporate edition and it found
it, and supposedly cleaned it. But, my computer is
experiencing the same thing that it did before i
installed norton. I don't know whether or not i should be
talking to norton about this, but why not try here? I get
the feeling my comp is being watched because every so
often, you'll hear the hard drive working, then the
floppy drive makes a noise. I hit control-alt-dlt and i
see that cidaemon.exe and msiexec.exe are running. I end
them, then they come back and they're listed twice on
the "Processes" list. I have spybot, spyware blaster, ad-
aware, and norton, and they give my comp a clean bill of
health. PLEASE HELP... it's getting on my nerves. Thanks.

You'd be better off posting to an anti-virus group. I know *** all about
this particular virus, but for what it's worth.... some viruses can switch
anti-virus software off, so it looks like it's working but isn't; did you
scan the machine before installing Norton? if not it could have been
infected on instalation.
