Help! cannot send e-mail out

Help,
I cannot send out any e-mails but I can receive them ok.I
have Norman virus control with a firewall so i don`t
think it`s a virus.
Does anyone know the problem??

I also have problems is sending some emails. They just
get stuck in my Outbox and will not move irrespective of
what method I use to try to send them.

Ian,

We saw a problem with installing the new Symantec AV 9.0 client on our
Exchange server. Somehow, it was blocking port 25 from sending any
traffic outbound. To test it, try telneting to the SMTP port 25 from
the Exchange server (telnet localhost 25) and see if you get a
response. If not, that may be the problem. We uninstalled and put an
older version on.
