Help - Changing email address

We're adding approximately 1500 users to an AD OU for the state of Delaware.
The domain logon names will be formatted First name.Lastname

Example: Joe.Smith



We're going to be populating an Exchange 2000/2003 information store with
these 1500 new AD users.

The SMTP address for these users will be "First Name.Last (e-mail address removed)"

Example: (e-mail address removed)



Currently these 1500 users are in an Exchange 5.5 information store, where
their SMTP address is First initial Last name.

Example: (e-mail address removed)



Is there a mechanism to automate making the address format change in each
clients personal address book via a script or 3rd party software?



Is there a way to include this mechanism as an attachment so the e-mail's
recipient can execute the same change?

Hi, Kirk - did you see my reply in
microsoft.public.win2000.active_directory? If you need to post to multiple
groups, it's best to do so all at once in a single message (separate the NG
names with commas) so that everyone can follow the thread. A lot of people
subscribe to multiple groups, and this way you won't be asking anyone to
reproduce someone else's work, and everyone can benefit.

Crossposting = posting once to several newsgroups within a single message.
This is not a Bad Thing (presuming the list of groups posted to is small,
and all the groups are truly relevant to your question)

Multiposting = posting separate, identical posts to several newsgroups. This
is a Bad Thing.
