[help] Delay of receiving mails in Outlook 2000

After I started to use a NetGear wireless router between
my compuer and my Cable modem, I cannot receive mails on
time in my Outlook 2000.

I get notified for having new mails which should have been
arrived 10, 20 or even 30 minutes ago. I have to
frequently click the Send/Receive button to manually check
new mails all the time.

I do not know if this is some kind of conflict between
NetGear router and Cisco VPN client. Anybody here knows a
way to setup Outlook 2000 to force checking new mails, say
every 1 minute?

Any help will be greatly apprieated.
