Help! Entourage X problems

The following message appears after clicking the reply
button . "The action could not be completed. An error has
occurred (-8796)" Then the following happens:

- Can't preview other messages listed.
- None of the buttons work (new, reply, forward...).

I have to quit and restart entourage before the above will
work but once I click reply the same error message appears
and nothing works again. Any ideas?

Do a database rebuild.

How to rebuild your database:

If you¹re in Entourage X, first go to
Entourage -> Turn Off Office Notifications. Quit Entourage, and then restart
Entourage holding down the Option key. When the Rebuild dialog box comes up,
choose to do a Typical Rebuild.
