hi, is there anyone out there who can help me as im not at all computor
literate, ive got a basic laptop with windows xp installed and tonight
when i went to use it it had gone completly blank and it said i had to
install the recovery drive to install files thet were lost(lost yes i
am have i lost you too) WHEN I DID THAT IT NOW SAID THAT MY PASSWORDS
WERE INCORRECT, why as i havent touched the system or changed them,
does anyone know what i should do apart from through it out the window.

It would help if you posted your question in the correct newsgroup. But
before you did that, I'd suggest calling the tech support for your system's
manufacturer. Computers do not just lose files for no reason.
