Help! I Can Send Email but Not Receive

I can send email but not receive...

Powerbook G4
Entourage X 10.1.6
Exchange 5.5

I recieve an IMAP error when I try to connect to receive emails.
I have another user who has a Powerbook G4 with the same Entourage
client that works...

Well while we were waiting we found a solution... doesn't make much
sense at this point but I'll post it here so it can help others:

The day's finally arrived that we verified a fix for those Macintosh
clients unable to fully connect and download mail from Exchange 5.5
here at Corporate office. The fix however makes little sense at this
point and will be further investigated as I'm more acclimated with Macs
and their communication between AD, Exchange, and itself.

1. Create the Entourage client profile using the appropriate location
information for the Account fields
2. Modify the Exchange Mailbox Object so that the Alias name matches
the AD\accountID
3. Ensure IntraSite Updates are forced within the Exchange Site, or
wait approximately 15 mins for those Sites with only 1 Exchange Server
4. Modify the Exchange Mailbox Alias name back to its original state
5. Repeat Step 3
6. Login to the Macintosh machine and launch a configured Entourage

There's no rhyme nor reason at this point why those steps are
necessary, nor is it documented anywhere, but it is successful. I'd
like to request a Macintosh machine with the latest OS and Office 2004
build for the Messaging group to be able to learn, work, and test as we
progress towards a more streamlined configuration and Messaging
environment.
