Help! I cannot delete junk emails from my inbox.

Greetings,

This just started happening a couple of weeks ago and I don't
remember changing anything. About half of the junk email that comes
into my inbox, when I click the delete button or press the delete key
on the keyboard it will not delete the email. I do not receive any
errors or anything, the message simply remains. I am using an IMAP
server, there are no rules set, and I have the preferences set to hide
messages marked for deletion. Any ideas?

Hi,

Select the message and press Apple+Delete(Delete key next to "=") and check
whether you are able to delete the message.
