When you say "now I am using Outlook 2003," does that mean that before you
were using something else? Did you recently change installations or Outlook
profiles? If so, your auotcompletion cache will not follow you and will have
to be repopulated as you send messages.

And have you sent enough messages to have populated an autocompletion cache?

Russ IS explaining to you that the feature you want is called autocompletion
and if you just started using Outlook, it takes time for that autocompletion
list to build up addresses to remember. No feature of Outlook "automaticaly
get closed". You must turn autocompletion off deliberately. Only you can
know what you did and undo it. The option for autocompletion can be found
in the dialogue found at Tools>Options>E-mail Options>Advanced E-mail
Options. There's a checkbox labeled "Suggest names while completing To, Cc,
and Bcc fields" that must be checked to enable autocompletion.

Now, if you were using some other application to send your mail, because you
said "this my first time to use outlook", certainly you don't expect Outlook
to behave the same way as whatever that other application was.

Outlook will remember names you have recently used. That is what the
Autocompletion function does.

Names in your Contacts do not show in Autocomplete. They are separate
lists.

If you had a well populated cache that is no longer working, then you have a
corrupt Outlook profile and must create a new one.
