Help! My IMAP inbox mail is being downloaded my computer and then deleted automatically.

How do I stop it from downloading to my computer Inbox and being moved
to my deleted items folder? It didn't used to do this. I just want
it to stay in my inbox on the server until I do something with it.
Thoughts?

It is fixed. It is the news groups thing. Erase and newsgroup rules
and it is fixed. Thanks for looking and to those who post!
