Help needed with Entourage sound notifications

Hi all. I seem to have lost me sound notification on my IMAC G5 when sending
and receiving mail using Entourage Office 2004. I have sound preferences in
Entourage set for notification but still no sound. Also system preferences
is set for sound and I get sound when I check Itunes etc. Have I corrupted
something within entourage? It was working when I got the damn thing last
week but since yesterday no mail notification sending receiving sounds
