Help - Pictures in my ppt presentation are switching / swapping to other slides

Greetings all,

I have these PowerPoint presentations and the pictures are dissapearing on
some slides and inserting themselves on other slides. Some of the photos
that got switched were small, but then reappear on another slide as the
background and they are streatched to the full. It makes no sense and is a
real problem since we have to supply these presentations to our clients.
Does anyone else have this problem? This is all done with Office 2003.
