Help! Please!!!

Daniel Harris

In case no one understood, the message I posted about a week ago is quite
urgent. PLEASE HELP ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
So, I'm going to repeat my plea:
I have a week of calendar events that I want to print, but the events last
from about 6am until midnight.
How do I print ALL the events, without Entourage ignoring the events before
about 8am and after about 5pm and printing "early" and "eve" instead?
system: iMac G4 1GHz, OS 10.3.1

Thank you all,
Daniel
PLEASE HELP! ARGH!

Hi Daniel!

I'm not currently in front of a machine with Entourage X, but have you tried
settings your Calendar Preferences to show the work week as Sunday -
Saturday from 12:00 am to 11:59 pm?

Hope this helps! bill

Daniel, can I give you an elementary lesson in communication?
When I see a header that say "Help!" or "Desperate" I ignore it and many
others do too.
How about a header with text: "Print contiguous calendar events"? It is
possible no one knows the answer to your problem, but that header would at
least get the attention of knowledgeable users. The same is true of all
forums and Usenet groups. Target your reader with words.

Entity Daniel Harris spoke thus:

Gnarlie, let me give YOU a lesson :) Don't be so arrogant! I already tried
the header with the topic, but no one replied - so I thought I'd try
something that could possibly catch some attention! You obviously ignored
the last one, otherwise you wouldn't have written what you did....

With calendar in Week (or Day) View select List View in View menu. Print
that. It will give you an accurate and reliable - and more detailed -
printout of your events, even if they overlap.

By the way, I would have to agree with Gnarlie - I too instinctively avoid
messages with more than one exclamation mark, all capital letters, and all
that crap. You may just feel frustrated, but that sort of thing is going to
be mostly counter-productive. Sure, it attracts attention, but mostly you'll
just get reprimands, not help. It implies that people here somehow owe you
what you want and that they'll jump to attention because they didn't answer
last time.

Everyone here is just an Entourage user like you are. We all came here for
help ourselves, and some people stayed on to help others. It's not their
job. No one owes it to you - as the tone of your message seems to demand,
even if that's not how you meant it. You'll get a lot more help if you ask
more politely - even the second time. It's OK to mention that you've asked
once already - sometimes that does get a response, especially if some of us
are working our way through a backlog and may have missed a few postings
along the way. You could also be a bit enterprising - if you read just a few
other threads here you'll see many messages with the URL to the Entourage
FAQ page as in my signature below. Had you gone there you could have had the
information you want a week ago...

Please "Reply To Newsgroup" to reply to this message. Emails will be
ignored.

PLEASE always state which version of Entourage you are using - 2001 or X.
It's often impossible to answer your questions otherwise.

Thanks for that. Not exactly what I'm after, but a good reference point for
the future.
Sorry if I pissed you off. I didn't want to come across as demanding, but
needing to do stuff urgently can be frustrating.
By the way, I tried the FAQ page. I looked for ages. Didn't find what I
need. And it's such an overwhelming page! It's huge and scary!

It also help users that are searching the archives for an answer. Good
