Help regarding a formula ignoring some cells

I am suming a number of rows in one column

46155.18
92574.78
41951.78
0.00
5676.00
0.00
0.00
0.00
13138.57
0.00
1757.87
500.50
2415.11

using +sum(R17:R30) which includes all the cells.

When the answer is given, the bottom two rows have been excluded fro
the formula.

Does anyone know why this might be

Hi

Maybe they are not numbers. If the cells were formatted as text before they
were entered, they may appear to be numbers, but aren't.
To make them into numbers, copy a blank unused cell, select the two cells in
question and Edit / Paste Special / Add
