HELP SOUGHT - Export Select Contacts from Entourage 11, MAC 0S X

Hi Folks,

I am using Entourage 11.0 and have a fairly sizeable address book. I
organize that Address Book into Address Book Views which are by
Category.

I would like to export a subset of the Address Book, a Category say
Business Contacts. However, when exporting, the whole Address Book is
exported. And, when opening that exported file in Excel--much to my
surprise, the assigned category is not a field to sort.

What are some ways I can export select contacts (a few hundred and
hopefully by assigned category) with the contacts' name, address, city,
state, zip and email address information?

I would very much appreciate suggestions to accomplish this task.

You could export items to an Entourage archive and choose to only export
items in a certain category, but that will create an .rge archive of vCards
that is unintelligible to Excel.

Check out Paul Berkowitz's "Export-Import Entourage" script package, a
highly versatile tool that allows you to export to Excel.
