Help with a date modification

I need help on the following date solution:

INPUT INTO CELL: a date in the future, say 07/01/24

OUTPUT CELL: formula giving me the equivalent date and month, BUT i
the current year, so in this example, the output would be 07/01/04

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Try something like:
=DATE(YEAR(NOW()),MONTH(A2),DAY(A2))
