help with default mail for sending documents

I have done something to remove Mac mail as the default mail for
documents that I want to email. Mac mail is shown in my Mac system as
the default but somehow Entourage overrides the mac mail. Can someone
please help me reinstall Mac mail as my default mail system for
sending documents? Thanks

1. Run Mail.
2. From the Mail menu bar, choose Mail > Preferences.
3. At the top of the Mail Preferences window, click the "General" icon.
4. From the "Default Email Reader" menu, select "Mail".

TIP: Another (arguably better) way to do this is to install RCDefaultApp:

email application, as well as the default web browser, FTP application,
and so on, all in one place.
