Hi,
first of all, you need to get Entourage to display all the messages that
contain attachments. In order to do that, create a new custom view by
clicking on File>New>Custom View. Make sure "Messages" is specified as the
item type, and in the criteria section, select "Attachment" "exists". You
now have a new custom view that will display every message with attachments.
Select all these messages (Edit>Select All), then click on Message>Remove
All Attachments. Note that this only works for POP accounts; for online
accounts such as IMAP, Entourage will only remove the attachment from the
local copy while leaving the message on the server intact.
Can anyone tell me if it is possible to highlight all emails with
attachments and delete all attachments at one time, versus pulling up
each email and deleting one by one.
