Help with formulas!

I am trying to create a worksheet that will figure a formula based on
rate (determined by age range) and a dollar amount.

The worksheet will need a space to type the age which will the
calculate the corresponding formula with a dollar amount that is als
data entered...this worksheet needs to be something tht can be use
over and over for repeated calaculations.

Can anyone give me help to start with? This is the first time I hav
tried to create a spreadsheet with formulas!

Will probably need more info. But to get statrted
In cell A1 type a number
In cell B1 type a number
In cell C1 type the formula =A1 + B
