Help with Importing

I am trying to import mail from Thunderbird to Entourage. Originally I had
mail in my Inbox in Entourage and when I set up my account in Thunderbird,
all of the mail exported into Thunderbird and disappeared from Entourage. I
want to go back to Entourage, but I don¹t know how to get the messages back
in my Inbox. I was instructed by Thunderbird to select the files with no
extension, but they are grayed out and Entourage won¹t let me select them.
Please help!

I'm hardly an expert, but what I would do is

1. make a copy of the Thunderbird mail in a temporary folder
2. add a .mbox extension to the temp Tbird mail files
3. Use "get info" on the mail files and set them to open with Entourage
4. Open Entourage and drag the mail files to "Local Folders" and they
should be imported.
