Help with Outlook 2002 on Exchange 2000 sp3

All of a sudden, some of my users email is acting weird. When anyone
sends them an email, they dont get it automatically. They have to
either click on an existing email in the inbox or hit send and receive
in order to see the new emails. Also, when they send an email, the
message gets to the recipient but the message seems to stay in the
outbox until they click into the inbox again.

I have ran all service packs and updates. I have removed the users
profile, rebooted, and recreated the profile but to no avail.

Please help. This is getting exremely frustrating.
