Help with sending pictures

M

Michelle

I just purchased a MAC and I take a lot of pictures that I email
out...however, I have run into an inconvenience that I hope is easy to
fix. When I insert a picture to send out, it doesn't show me a
thumbnail, it just shows the name (if i named it) and JPEG icon which
as you know is very difficult in "selecting" the picture, is there any
way to show a thumbnail of the pic and not the JPEG icon when
inserting?

Any advice would be much appreciated.

This is an OS X system setting, rather than an entourage issue.

In the 'open' dialog that you get when you want to attach a picture, make
sure that the view is set to 'column' view, not 'list' view:

The two icons in top left of the dialog box control this function.

In column view. The image¹s prview will be shown when it is selected.
