Help with setting up access to Exchange server

E

Erick Pinell

I'm using the only mac on our windows network, and would like to access my
account on the exchange server.

When I try to set it up using the wizard, it cannot find the domain
controller to verify my account. But I'm connected to network printers and
other wintel machines.

Our IT guys are a little reluctant to help, so any advice would really be
appreciated.

Thanks,
Erick.

As long as you know the name of your server, your domain, and your account
ID, you can manually fill in the fields in the Exchange account dialog.

Thanks for the tip, but I'm still unable to get it working. I know the
domain name, the name of our Exchange server, and my account info. I fill
in everything and I get a message that the systen is syncning my exchange
account, but nothing ever appears.

If I try to send a message from that account I receive:

"An unknown error (170) occurred. Message can not be sent."

What else should I do?

Thanks.

Ask your Exchange admin to help you.
