I would like to put a vertical line in the middle of a colunm where th
back slashes are. A straight line to seperate the words from the
signs and then a line to seperate the dollar amount from th
cents.Please Help

Hi Sheila,
Some variation of this adapted to your actual data and
cell references might work for you (example reads a label
out of A3 and an amount out of cell b3):
=A3&" | "&DOLLAR(INT(B3),0)&"|"&TEXT(INT((B3-INT
(B3))*100+0.5),"00")

The vertical bar is coming from the symbol over the
backslash key (on my keyboard at least, looks like two
vertical dashes). You can insert/remove spaces inside the
quoted strings as needed for neatness. The second INT()
function ensures the cents occupy just two places and are
rounded properly in case there is internal rounding you
don't see. The "00" ensures that cents between 0-9 show a
leading zero.
