Helvetica Font in Office (Word and Powerpoint)

Currently I'm working on two different versions of Microsoft Office (an older
version which I believe to be Office 2000 and Office 2003). I am making
various presentations and the suggested font is Helvetica in order to prevent
kerning issues. I have this font type available in the older version but I
cannot find Helvetica in Office 2003. Does anyone know where I can find this
font for office? Can I download from the microsoft site (preferably for
free)? I would like to update all of my office programs but am hesitant if a
key font that I use frequently is no longer available with the program.

Fonts are installed at the operating system level, not in Office. If you have
Helvetica in a previous version, it can be installed on the system with
Office 2003 - that is, provided that the font license allows it.
