I am trying to write a program for our club members to use, none o
which possess an
computer skills
So as not to over tax their type writing skills I have omitted the
separator
The times are entered (11:59:14 pm as 235914 ) & ( 11:59:14 a
as 115914
and by using the formulae
=MID(B1+10000000,3,2)*3600+MID(B1+10000000,5,2)*60+RIGHT(B1,2) }a
B
it will convert the times to seconds
I know if they are entered with a : then the formulae {B1/86400 } a
C1 will return hh:mm:s
......... A ............. B ..........

..... Time...... Secs .... Secs/‘8640
1.. 235914 ... 86354... 11:59:14 P
2 . 000059 ......... 59 .. 12:00:59 A
3.. 120059.... 43259 .. 12:00:59 P
4.. 120000 .. 43200 ... 12:00:00 P
5.. 141214 ... 51134 .... 2:12:14 P

What I want I want to know is
When I use =E13*86400 it ill convert them. to hh:mm:ss is i
possible to do away with
the AM/PM or have it display in lower case
Hope this displays OK as I didn't know any other way to do it
