Third door on the left, building C. You can take the shuttle from the
Redmond main gate. If there's an accident on the way, no-one will be
surprised to read about a 'microsoft bus crash'...

G'day "Jezebel" <[email protected]>,

How short-sighted of you Jez! Shame, shame shame!

#1: Word USED to have Easter Eggs, some seriously managed code reviews
managed to identify and remove most of these. I think XP was the first
'all-but-easter egg-free' version. 2000 was a LOT less eggy than
previous for sure.

#2: Have you forgotten our favourite Word games already? You could
have advised him to play Pin the List Number Restart on the paragraph,
Pin the Floating Tail on the Floating Donkey or the ole jellybeans
game of "Guess how many list templates this document has" :)

#3: Everyone knows the shuttle is booby-trapped with lawyers. As you
haven't acquired the Queens Council by then, you have to walk.

TGIF :)

I remember with great fondness the green 'WordPerfect monster' in Word 6.0.
It was almost enough fun to be considered 'not a waste of disk space'.

Salut Jean-Guy,

Hmmmm... well, at least =rand(100,100) isn't mentioned. That's some relief.

Didn't look closely enough.
At least, =rand() is only listed eight times <g>

Hi Klaus,

In fact it shouldn't be listed... it isn't strictly speaking an egg.

I enjoyed the Excel 97 one... The Word pinball wasn't bad either.
Makes me wonder, if the programmers had time to insert a little thingy like
that, then they surely must have had time to fix a few bugs as well!
But they chose to insert an egg instead... go figure! Unless, of course,
that they programmed the egg on their own time. Yeah, that's probably what
happened... ;-) Not.

Salut!
