I am using a local copy of Outlook 2003 (no exchange
server).
This is really two questions. I tried to submit this to
Microsoft Email support, but the page would not accept my
product ID of 73931-640-3621907-57753. I confirmed this is
the number reported by Outlook several times. Quite
puzzling.
The more important Q is that I cannot see my most recent
deleted emails. Right now, for example, the most recent
deleted email is dated 5/18/2004 (3 weeks ago). If I do a
search, recent deleted emails are not found. For a while,
I could see recent deleted emails by exiting and
restarting Outlook. But that no longer works.
This is quite a problem, as I used the "Deleted" basket as
a filing cabinet for most emails. Periodically, I remove
emails older than a year from this area.
Can anybody help with either question? (Helping with the
first question lets me submit to Microsoft.)
