hidden text

Hi,

Have a document that I want to copy into another one...select the tex
and paste it in...but there is a ton of what I presume to be hidde
text that appears after pasting in too. Clicked on the "Show/Hide
button to no avail. How do i see hidden text? Or preferably copy th
text over without the hidden text.
