Hide Zeros?

I've created a resource availability screen based on the 'Resource Usage
View'. Almost everyone is no longer available, so most values are "0h". Is
there a way that I can hide the zero values, or even bold the non zero
values, so that they are easier to see?

Thanks,

Kelly,
Well, no and yes. Unfortunately Project does not have a lot of
flexibility when it comes to highlighting individual cells in the Usage
views. Font characteristics and cell background color for entire rows
can be set but not individual cells.

There is also no way to eliminate the "0h". In the Resource Usage view
the Assignments are the tasks and the data therefore represents
information over the Duration span of the assigned task.

One option is if several resources are not available to work on
particular tasks, you could remove them from those tasks. However
resource availability on a task is not the same as the resource never
working on that particular task so this option may not be viable in your
situation.

Now for the "yes" part of my answer. Most everything is possible with
Project but some solutions require the use of advanced features. Unless
someone else has a simple solution that I missed entirely, the only way
to get what you want is through VBA. Basically I would export the
desired usage data to Excel where it can be manipulated as desired.
Short of using a custom VBA approach you could try exporting the data
using the "analyze timescaled data in Excel" utility/add-in found on the
Analysis toolbar. It may or may not give you the data you need.

Hope this helps.
