Greetings,
I have a windows xp machine which had office basic edition 2003 installed.
When you open up Word the cursor justifies to the far right (as if
configured for right-to-left language). In addition, the horizontal ruler
where the 1" begins at the far right and increments to the left. As opposed
to begining at the far left and incrementing to the right typically.
I have checked the page layout settings, I have tried starting word with the
/a start up switch, deleting the normal.dot template , and even tried
uninstalling basic edition and installing office 2003 pro.
Upon installing office 2003 pro, the word problem still remains - the ruler
is still incrementing from right to left. Any thoughts or insights into a
possible solution would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
justin
