When I work in Excel, at random times, the screen flashes in a sideways back
and forth motion for a fraction of a second and when it settles down the
right arrow icon on the horizontal scroll bar is no longer there. After that
point the horizontal scroll bar does not work at all. Teh vertical scroll bar
remains operational.
The only cure I have found is to save the spreadsheet, close it, and then
reopen it. It then works fine until the next spasm.
Is there a fix for this that I have missed?
