hot sync launch and incorrect calendar display

I had to reinstall my mac os and my Entourage time display in the
inbox and calendar are completely off. The calendar events show one
time and when you double click and open the event it dispays the
correct time. I did a typical and advanced rebuild to no avail.

Bigger issue is that I am having problems resetting up my hot sync.
Once I install the handheld synchrionization conduit and move the
disabled conduits into the conduit folder I still cannot open the hot
sync manager. The computer gives me this message: The application
"HotSync Manager" could not be launched because of a shared library
error: "4<HotSync Manager><HotSync Manager><HotSyncLib.PPC><>
I am sure there is a simple answer to my issues unfortunately I am not
familiar with troubleshooting this software. Any suggestions would be
much appreciated. Thanks.

Make sure your date and time are set correctly. Go to System
Preferences, and then open Date & Time Preferences. Click the "Time Zone"
tab and make sure that a city in your time zone is selected. Then, go to
the Date & Time tab and verify that the current date and time are entered.
In some versions there is a "Save" button you must press to save your
changes.

Then, go to Entourage, and navigate to Entourage -> Preferences. Under
General Preferences, click the Calendar button. Make sure the default time
zone for new events is a city in your time zone, and click OK.

If times for an existing event still doesn't seem to match, open the event,
and then go to Event -> Time Zone -> <Your Time Zone>. You might then need
to re-enter the time. Do so and save the event. You shouldn't need to do
this for events you create from now on.

I don't either; it doesn't sound like an Entourage error. Perhaps you
should explore some of the forums and other troubleshooting resources
available for Palm issues.
